We will be accepting donations for Aeon Mall Kumamoto and selling charity goods to support pets and pet owners in disaster-stricken areas starting August 28th (Friday).
We offer our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.
Since the earthquake, we have received many kind words and offers of support from our customers for the Cat Café MOFF Aeon Mall Kumamoto store and the cats that live there. We would like to express our deepest gratitude once again for everyone's kind consideration.
The 25 cats that were safely rescued from the store have been moved to stores within Hiroshima Prefecture, and are currently being monitored to check on the health of each cat and how well they are adapting to their new environment.
We are pleased to announce the methods for accepting donations, which we have received many inquiries about. In addition, to express our gratitude for the support we received from everyone during our own disaster experience, we will be implementing the following two initiatives to pass that on to future support.
1. Regarding support funds for MOFF Co., Ltd.
The donations we receive from everyone will be carefully used to address the issues related to this earthquake, including the costs of caring for and managing the health of the cats that have been moved to Hiroshima, cleaning up our damaged stores, and caring for our affected employees.

2. About the pet support charity in disaster-stricken areas
To offer even a little support to pets and their owners in disaster-stricken areas who are still in need, we will be selling charity goods at the MOFF official online shop.
This initiative will be carried out in collaboration with Focus Co., Ltd., our operating partner for the official online shop.
20% of the sales of the target products will be donated to the "2026 Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Animal Relief Fund (Kumamoto Earthquake Pet Relief Headquarters Related)," which is related to the local relief system in cooperation with the Kumamoto Prefectural Veterinary Medical Association, Kumamoto Prefecture, and Kumamoto City.
